Step-by-step workflow

  1. Export a readable PDF with searchable text where possible. Check its page order, cover and file size before upload.
  2. Create a publication, upload the PDF and wait for processing. Free uploads allow up to 20 MB; paid access allows up to 150 MB.
  3. Preview on a phone and desktop. Check search, zoom and navigation, and choose the reader settings you want.
  4. Publish, copy the short sharing link or embed code, and test the result on the destination page.

Prepare a cover that works at small sizes

The reader starts with a closed cover. Use a clear title and avoid tiny cover text. Readers can open the book, navigate directly to a page and pan around a zoomed page. Sound and autoplay are reader controls; consider the audience before enabling autoplay by default.

Embedding on an existing site

The embed view prioritizes the flipbook and bottom navigation without the site’s top branding bar. Your website editor must permit iframes. Use a responsive container with enough height, and check the result on a narrow phone screen before sharing it.

Updates and access

Replace the PDF on the existing publication when you want to keep its sharing link. A link or embed is not a guarantee that a document stays confidential: review publication visibility and password settings, and only distribute documents you have permission to share.

Does embedding a flipbook use another monthly link?

The embed is another way to display the existing publication. It does not require creating a separate publication or short link.
