A dynamic QR menu points to an editable short link. Update that link’s destination when the menu changes, and the printed QR code can stay in use.

An illustrated print-to-digital menu workflow. Illustrative scene.
Step-by-step workflow
Publish a mobile-friendly menu URL or upload a PDF as a flipbook. Use a readable menu rather than a screenshot of small text.
Create a short link and its QR code. Give the link a descriptive internal title such as Main dining menu.
Download the code and test the actual printed size on more than one phone before producing table cards. Keep clear space around the QR code and strong contrast.
When a menu changes, update the destination or replace the PDF on the existing publication. Test the same printed code again.
Separate tables from takeaway
Use separate links for table cards and takeaway packaging if you need to compare these placements. A single reused code cannot tell you which physical placement produced a scan. Add descriptive campaign names so reports remain understandable.
Measure visits, not orders
QR scan activity tells you that someone opened a destination. It does not, by itself, prove they ordered a meal or completed a booking. Use your booking or ordering system to measure those actions.
Plan for accessibility
Print a short, readable URL beside the QR code. Provide another way to see the menu for guests without a compatible phone or connection. Avoid making the code the only route to essential information.
Can I change a QR menu without printing new table cards?
Yes, when the QR code points to an editable short link. Change the destination of that link, or replace the PDF behind its existing flipbook, instead of creating a new link.
Try this workflow
Every tool is available on Free with two new items per month. An extra item costs ₹49; Unlimited costs ₹3,400 annually. PDF limits are 20 MB on Free and 150 MB with paid access.
UTM parameters label the source, medium and campaign on a destination URL. Use a different tracked link for each channel, then compare link activity with the outcomes in your destination analytics.
Use a memorable short link to take an audience to a specific release, booking page or newsletter. Optional Smart App Open can help supported destinations open in their app, with a browser fallback.
Put an editable QR link on packaging or a printed catalogue so customers can reach current product information. Share a mobile-friendly page or PDF flipbook, and keep the link stable when the destination changes.
Schools, colleges, nonprofits and event organizers
Use a flipbook for a prospectus or programme and a short link for registrations. Keep audience-facing links stable, while updating the underlying information when schedules or documents change.
Real estate agents, architects and property marketers
Turn a prepared property brochure PDF into a flipbook and share it through a short link or QR code. Keep property facts accurate and use a separate destination for enquiries or viewings.
